How to Use a 6-30 PSI Tire Deflator

To properly use a 6-30 PSI tire deflator, follow these steps:

Step 1: Use a professional pressure gauge to deflate a spare or extra tire to your preferred deflation pressure. Step 2: Ensure the lock ring and adjustable cap are wound down, then screw the deflator tightly onto the valve stem to prevent slow or unexpected deflation. Make sure the threads are clean and in good condition. Step 3: Loosen the cap in a counter-clockwise direction until the deflator pops open, then immediately tighten the cap once air stops gushing from the tire. Step 4: Adjust the cap and tighten it by turning the lock ring up. Step 5: Your installation is now complete, set to your preferred deflation pressure using the tire deflator inflator gauge.

Important Notes: - The fully adjustable range is from 6 to 30 PSI. - Airing down a tire from 28 to 0 PSI takes approximately 4 minutes. - Adjust the cap by screwing it in clockwise to increase pressure, and counter-clockwise to decrease pressure. - A small rotation is sufficient to adjust the valve; 1/16th to 1/8th of a turn adjusts 1 PSI. - Carefully tighten the lock ring using two pairs of pliers without rotating the cap. - Adjust the deflators at a rate of 3 PSI per half-turn of the adjusting cap. - For tire pressure and deflator setting within 8 PSI, start manually by lifting the center pin after fitting the deflator.
