ARB 813402 Awning Bracket for Off-Road or Extreme Conditions

The 813402 Awning bracket is specifically designed with welded gussets to offer enhanced strength when mounting awnings to roof bars on vehicles that are frequently used off-road or in extreme conditions. Zinc plated and powder coated for added corrosion resistance, this awning bracket can be installed both upright or inverted. It is 50 mm wide, making it compatible with Thule SquareBar & Rhino Heavy Duty bars in the inverted position, or upright using T-bolts or channel nuts on Thule ProfessionalBar, WingBar & AeroBar or Rhino Heavy Duty.

Pre-drilled to accept 8mm bolts, it is recommended to use at least 2, but preferably 3 bolts to ensure maximum strength when mounting to the roof bar. The outer bolt hole between the gussets must always be utilized for the gusset to be effective. Additionally, three slotted 6mm holes are provided for ease of awning mounting. Please note that this awning bracket does not come with hardware, so it is advised to use T-bolts and channel nuts provided by the roof bar manufacturer due to variations in bar designs.

The current 813402 ARB Awning bracket has been upgraded to 4mm construction, however, it is considered more suitable for highway use. Each listing is for one bracket, but ARB suggests using 2 or 3 brackets to securely mount the awning. It works on most roof racks with a universal mount, although round roof racks may present a slightly more challenging installation process. For bigger awnings, it is recommended to use 3 brackets for added security. There are various awning sizes available, ranging from 1250 mm to 2500 mm.
